Institutional Business Development Manager

Integrated in the Institutional B2B department of Swissquote Financial Services (Malta) Ltd., the candidate will be a senior business development professional who is able to bring his/her network and expertise to the team, conduct multiple tasks to grow the business through client acquisition, as well as providing best in class service to existing clients and operational ongoing support to the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiating, developing and fostering Institutional Clients/Partners relationships such as Banks, Asset Managers, Family offices, Funds and Companies, whilst ensuring the highest level of satisfaction and providing reliable value
  • Developing and implementing a marketing strategy and marketing initiatives
  • Identifying potential market opportunities
  • Negotiating pricing and conditions with clients and partners
  • Suggesting new ideas on ways to improve our business objective and nurture our results driven and team oriented environment
  • Monitoring of enquiries internally from other departments and from clients
  • Pro-actively broaden and deepen relationships with existing & new customers through effective contact and delivery of the Swissquote product offering
  • Providing a high quality service meeting customer expectations in terms of efficiency, accuracy, timeliness and professionalism of response through the customer's preferred channel of distribution
  • Providing continuous feedback to management in order to optimize existing procedures and tools

Qualifications
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a verbal and written form in multiple languages, English being mandatory
  • At least 2 years of experience in a variety of Client facing (Sales) service and administration roles
  • In depth comprehensive knowledge of the financial industry
  • Experience in Trading and/or Trade execution of all general asset classes
  • Strong prospecting skills as well as outgoing personality, sense of urgency, self-motivated and high energy
  • Action-oriented and result driven with a strong ability to think strategically in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with flexible schedules and be ready to travel
  • Great at networking within the industry
