Due to strategic expansion plans, we are looking to enhance our operations team to support increased commodities trading activities.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

• Trade Support Functions: Ensure accurate, complete, and timely capture of trades and lifecycle events to support Portfolio Managers (PMs) and maintain rigorous control processes to ensure precise risk and P&L reporting.
• Operational Support: Oversee the seamless execution of trades across various platforms and compliance with all regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include exotic trade bookings, T0 P&L publication, and lifecycle event management.
• Process Improvement and Project Involvement: Participate in new business initiatives, enhance operational processes, and implement technology improvements to optimize trading operations.

Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree in a numerate discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years in trade support or operations within financial services, with a strong understanding of financial markets and products, particularly in European Gas and Power, and derivative instruments.
• Demonstrable knowledge of front-to-back processes and market infrastructures.
• Proven capability in operational risk management and implementing effective control measures.

Desirable:

• Experience with advanced data tools including Excel, VBA, SQL, or other programming languages.
• Familiarity with trading platforms like Murex MX.3 is a plus.

• Self-motivated with the ability to perform under pressure.
• Excellent prioritization skills and the ability to drive operational changes.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

• A proactive work approach and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment and manage multiple priorities.
