Would you like to join the LICHTSTEINER FOUNDATION, which supports pioneers and their innovations in the field of health (life science, medtech, mental health, public health, biotech and wellbeing), in a small, agile team with a high sense of purpose? The Foundation’s mission is to support innovative, early-stage start-ups in the health sector on an international scale in order to improve people’s health in a sustainable way. For this exciting and very dynamic environment, we are looking for an experienced and highly self-driven Innovation / Investment Manager with excellent communication skills to represent the Foundation in the startup community.

Your tasks:

• Support the CEO in the scouting/application and selection process of startups (due diligence).
• Further development and cultivation of the Foundation’s startup community.
• Interface to the startups (participation in pitches, shareholder meetings, AGMs of the startups).
• Support and further development of the Foundation’s international network (startup ecosystem incl. universities).
• Creating analyses and researching potential innovations in various healthcare areas.
• Active participation in important events of the startup and health innovation community.
• National and international travelling activities.

Your profile:

• Completed studies with knowledge in the health innovation field (life science, medtech, mental health, public health, biotech and wellbeing).
• Very good knowledge of the Swiss startup ecosystem.
• Experience in impact investing (VC or similar).
• Outstanding networker.
• Excellent communicator.
• English: preferably native speaker / business fluent.
• German: good knowledge.
• Humorous, mature personality with a competent personal appearance.
• Quick perception, pragmatic and solution-orientated.
• Independent, agile and proactive personality.
• Organisational talent.
• High IT affinity (plus knowledge of Salesforce or similar).
• Responsible and interested in discovering new things.
• Strong cross-cultural competency.
• High self-motivation, discretion and independence.
